Deviled eggs are a timeless dish that impresses with their creamy texture and savory flavor, perfect for gatherings or casual snacks.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar or pickle relish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Chopped parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start with hard boiling the eggs—place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, let them sit for about 10-12 minutes for perfectly cooked yolks.
  3. After cooling them in an ice bath, peel with care to avoid any damage.
  4. Slice the eggs in half and gently scoop out the yolks.
  5. Mix the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar or relish until smooth.
  6. Fill the egg whites generously with the yolk mixture.
  7. Garnish with paprika, parsley, or chives before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
