A warm, comforting dessert that features sweet, juicy peaches under a golden, buttery biscuit topping.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix sliced peaches with sugar and lemon juice in a bowl.
  3. Combine flour, baking powder, milk, and melted butter in another bowl until just mixed.
  4. Layer the peach mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Dollop or spread the biscuit dough over the peaches.
  6. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

Notes

Best served warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with caramel sauce. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
