Indulge in a luxurious filet mignon topped with shrimp and a rich lobster cream sauce, perfect for special occasions or elegant dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 filet mignon steaks
  • 8 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over high heat and add 1 tbsp of butter.
  2. Season the filet mignon with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the filet mignon for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, then remove and let rest.
  4. Add the remaining butter to the skillet and add garlic.
  5. Cook for 30 seconds, then add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and lobster meat, letting it simmer until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. Combine the filet mignon with the shrimp and cream sauce, spooning the sauce generously over the steak.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives before serving.

Notes

Let the filet mignon rest before slicing for maximum juiciness. Adjust the consistency of the sauce by simmering longer or adding more cream.
